ICSE & ISC

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), for grades 9 and 10 is a course of study of the Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations or CISCE. It is offered at both Moulsari and Aravali campuses.

ICSE

The curriculum for the ICSE is broadly divided into three groups. Each student entering Class 9 opts for seven subjects from these three groups for a two year period of study till class 10. At the end of class 10, the student has to appear for an examination in the subjects he or she has studied.
Group I subjects are compulsory, and students have to choose TWO from Group II and ONE from Group III.

ISC

The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination is a school leaving examination of the CISCE and is offered at both Moulsari and Aravali campuses. Students clearing Class 10 can apply for admission to this course under Council eligibility rules. The ISC examination is recognized by the Inter Universities Board for entry into a 3-year college system leading to a Bachelor’s degree. Three streams of study are offered. In each of these streams English is a compulsory subject; students need to choose four additional subjects. The school varies the subjects it offers as well as which subject combinations it can allot based on a feasibility study and this varies from year to year. The courses of study being offered are as follows:

Humanities

Psychology, Economics, History, Hindi*, Elective English, Art, Mathematics, Computer Science*, Sociology, Political Science*, Geography [Any Four]

Commerce

Accounts, Economics, Commerce [Compulsory] Fourth Subject: Mathematics, Psychology, History [Any One]

Science

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics [Compulsory] Fourth Subject: Elective English, Psychology*, Biology, Economics, Computer Science or Art [Any One]

English (Core) is the compulsory subject.
*These subjects will be offered only after carrying out a feasibility survey.
