METROPOLITAN SCHOOL is an English medium co-educational school founded in 1994 under the aegis of Late Sardar Amarjeet Singh Memorial Educational Society. It is affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi. Metropolitan School is located at 11th Km stone, off the Gorakhpur-Mahrajganj highway, 3 Km further from Medical College, Gorakhpur.
It is a planned, child friendly campus with spacious ventilated classrooms, amenities and informal spaces with sylvan surroundings, pollution free and far from the madding crowd, it boasts an environment that is conducive for children’s health and invigorating for mental application and participation in curricular and extra-curricular activities.
The Campus is spread in 4.24 acres. The school building is a monolithic structure with four distinctive blocks. Block ‘A’ houses the Administration wing. Block ‘B’ houses the middle & senior school. Block ‘C’ is the excellence centre, with an excellence hall, Computer, Chemistry & Physics Laboratories, Arts & Crafts Studio & Library.
